Captain Aslan H. Kanshaw, "Al", age 34, of Norwalk, CT, passed away on May 19, 2012. Al proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1998-2006. He served during Operation Enduring Freedom from November 2001 to December 2002 and during Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2003 - November 2003 receiving many medals and honors for his honorable service. Aslan attended Union College where he was a brother of the ETA Chapter of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Aslan was currently working as a project manager for Affinion Group in CT. Aslan was the adored husband of Ashlee (nee Kelly), the treasured son of Amira (nee Massoud) and the cherished brother of Sasha Kanshaw. He will also be sadly missed by his dogs Magnum and Lexi.
