W.W. Elliott, 67, a native of Greenville and local building contractor for many years, died at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital. He had been ill for several months.

Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of relatives. However, services will be held from James-Peters Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. C.B. Jackson, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery.

William Wright Elliott was born on January 27, 1878 in Greenville, the son of Mrs. Mary Nannie Elliott and the late P.H. Elliott, pioneer Hunt County couple. He was reared here and for many years was in the contracting business in this city. He has been making his home at 2708 McDougal street. He had been a member of the First Baptist Church for 40 years.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. P.H. Elliott, of this city; four children, William Wright Elliott, Jr., ACMM, US Naval Air Station, Grandview, Ill.; Mrs. Annie E. Moore, Houston; Wylie Elliott, California, and Mrs. Sarah Catherine Ball, Greenville; three brothers, J.E. Elliott, New York; Walton H. Elliott, New York, and Lawrence C. Elliott, Ft Worth, and a sister, Mrs. W.H. Martin, Hillsboro.
