Pvt. Thomas J. Hargrove, 22, previously reported missing, was killed in action Jan 6 in Luxembourg, the War Department his informed his brother, Alton Hargrove, of Hazel Green.

Pvt. Hargrove entered service in February 1943 and went to the European theater of operations last June.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. T. C. Wilson of Toney and Mrs. Arvie Mooreand Miss Katherine Hargrove of Fayetteville, and two brothers, Hill Hargrove of Huntsville and Alton Hargrove with whom he made his home.
