(Bob) Checkalski, Oakdale, MN. and many nephews & nieces. Larry was born in St. Paul on Sept. 28, 1940 and except for 2 years spent in the Army lived his entire life in St. Paul. He grew up in the Como Park area and attended McClellan grade School and Washington High School, graduating in 1958. He retired from the St. Paul Public Schools in Sept. of 2002 after 28 years . He attended Faith Lutheran Church and was a member of American Legion Post 474.
