Mary Louise Viklund McKay beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away April 24, 2012 in Provo, Utah. She was born December 20, 1932 in Vineyard, Utah to Victor P. and Emily Louise Bullock Viklund. On November 1, 1952 she married Robert M. McKay, they later separated.

Mary lived her entire life in Lindon/Pleasant Grove. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1951. She worked at the Smith Rexall Drug Store for 55 years where she made many life-long friends. She started as a fountain store clerk and worked her way to become a Pharmaceutical Technician. Mary was very proud of her pioneer and Swedish heritage. She had an abiding faith in her Savior and was active her entire life in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was extremely devoted to her children, grandchildren, and extended family . She made each one feel as though they were her favorite.

Mary is survived by her two sons: Steven R. McKay of Pleasant Grove and David M. (Shalece) McKay of Lehi; son-in-law, Donald J. England of South Jordan; grandchildren: Aubrey Jo (currently serving in the Chile Concepcion Mission), Brandon J., Josh, Amy, and Danny England; Shayla Jolene, Colton David, Cambry, and Logan R McKay; brother, Ray V. (Dee) Viklund, Kernville, CA and sister, Helen V. (Boyd) Warnick, Taylorsville, UT; seven nieces and nine nephews who adore her. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Jolene McKay England; sister, Ina V. Buckner and brother, Glenn E. Viklund; three nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
