BENTON -- Dorothy Manion, 93, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born June 16, 1918, in Logan to Emmett Bell land Nola (Biggs) Bell.

She married Charlie Manion in 1938, and he preceded her in death in March 1993.

Dorothy and Charlie were both retired grocery clerks.

Dorothy was a loving and caring person who shared this with all who knew her. She loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Her family includes her daughter, Brenda Mincheff and Dick; son, Jim Manion and Doris Benignus; six grandchildren, Chris Mincheff and Melody, Craig Mincheff and Angie, Lynn Mocaby and John, Lisa Spencer and Tim, Lori Shreves and Larry Blake and Dalenna Manion and Bryce Holdren; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Sarah, Jacob and Noah Mincheff, Dustin Darnell, Luke Roberson and Samanth Soliz, J.R. and Zack Mocaby, Jesse Shortland and Emily, T.J. Casey and Kassie, Gaige and Nathan Spencer, Shawn and Mallory Shreves and Taylor Read, Shane Manion and Jaycee Holdren; great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee Darnell, Riley and Aurorah Spencer and Tanner Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; brother; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Thursday, May 31, in Morton and Johnston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
