Obituary for Mrs. Betty Losey
Mrs. Betty Losey, 88, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at her home.

She was born February 9, 1924 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Melvin Cottrill and Jennie (Knoll) Cottrill.

She was a member of LaPorte Assembly of God Church, she volunteer in food preparation for the Salvation Army, and a volunteer for other churches.

On February 28, 1947, in LaPorte, she married Leo F. Losey Sr. who preceded her in death August 27, 2010.

She is survived by her son - Leo (Gayle) Losey Jr.; twenty-seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; eleven great great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, James, David, and Thomas Losey, a daughter, Diana Minich, a granddaughter, Jenny, three brothers, and one sister.

Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at the Pine Lake Cemetery on Friday June 1, 2012 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Roger Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
