Norman Aaron Ritchey passed away peacefully on May 26, 2012. He was born September 29, 1922 in Canton, OH, the son of Charles David Ritchey and Ida Volzer Ritchey.

Mr. Ritchey was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Laura Ritchey, and his two oldest children Jeffrey Norman Ritchey (Carol), and Sheryl Ritchey Holcolm (Malcolm). Norm loved his family and his country. He retired from the Navy after 26 years of honorable service as a chief aboard numerous aircraft carriers. He later retired from Civil Service at NAS Jacksonville following 14 years of dedicated service. He was renowned amongst his friends and family for his gifted hands, good heart, and generous spirit.
