William E. Thomas Sr., 54, died last week at his home in the town of Ira. He had moved to Ira five days ago from Lamson.
Mr. Thomas was born in Cazenovia and was employed by the Melvin K Blumer Co., in Pennellville in construction work.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Gould, Lamson; a son, William E. Thomas Jr., Ira; three sisters, Mrs. James Lee, Nelson; Mrs. Patrick Frank, Chittenango and Mrs. Loretta Duplesais, Syracuse; 2 brothers, Albert Thomas and Homer Thomas; seven grandchildren.
Services were conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Allanson Glanville Tappan Funeral Home with the Rev. David L. Tucker, pastor of the Lysander Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Lysander Cemetery.
