Money Squandered, He Drinks Poison
Woman He Picked Up in Dance Hall Admits She is not Wife

Cheyenne, Wyo., May 22 - Because he had squandered nearly a thousand dollars on Edith Wilson, a woman whom he picked up in a dance hall at Denver, and because he suspected that since their arrival in Cheyenne three weeks ago, she had been receiving attentions from other men, Lee Herbert Oatney of Loveland, Colo., killed himself yesterday, by drinking poison in their room here.

These facts developed today when the woman, who had been posing as the dead man's wife, confessed that she merely was living with him.
