Here's the bio Norma wrote for our Watterberg book:
Norma Louise Watterberg
"I was born at home on February 24, 1922. The Alberta blizzards were raging on that day so the doctor didn't quite make to our house in time for the big event. Beryl, Marion, Bob and I grew up on an irrigated farm at Vauxhall, Alberta, Canada. There were two items which were never in short supply: hired men and farm machinery.
Things you may want to know about me:
Hobbies: Reading, collecting antiques, playing duplicate bridge, traveling, making long distance phone calls.
Education: Graduate of the University of Alberta, Edmonton. Library degree, University of Washington.
Employment: Since May 1952, medical librarian at the South Bend Medical Foundation, South Bend, Indiana.
Big accomplishments (two): (1) Selling some of my ideas for cartoon lines; (2) Changing from a fading brunette to a blonde. (Thank you, Preference by L'Oreal.)
Assets: A sense of humor (this is debatable) and a very loud, peculiar laugh."
