She married John Snidarich on Jan. 5, 1941 in Eveleth. John was killed in France while serving during World War II. On Aug. 18, 1947, she married Edward A. Verant in Chisholm. The couple made their home in Balkan. She enjoyed bocce ball, belonged to the Balkan Community Club and the Garden Club.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Edward; a daughter, Patricia (Ron) Snidarich Gagnon; two sons: Edward D. (Christine) Verant, and Dr. Ron (Dianne) Verant; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Nora) Koskinen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Snidarich; great-granddaughter, Shawna; and an infant brother.
Burial will be in the Chisholm Cemetery.
