Virginia Mae Lemasters, 100, of New Martinsville, formerly of Alvy, departed this life Saturday, March 22, 2008 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center. She was born December 26, 1907 in Tyler County a daughter of the late John W. And Amanda Ashenhart Haught.

Virginia was a member of the Alvy Church of Christ, Alvy, and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Columbus D. Lemasters in 1980. Three sons; Howard, Harold and Lewis. A brother Lawrence Haught. A sister Lula Haught. A granddaughter Nancy Weekley.

She is survived by four sons; John, Donald, Dave and Rodney. Four daughters; Helen Thomas, Phylis Wright, Linda Stackpole and Lenore Smith. A sister Leona Carmier. Twenty one grandchildren. Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Three nieces.

Friends will be received at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, 6:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday where services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday with Evangelist Michael Foresha officiating. Interment in Alvy Church of Christ Cemetery, Alvy.
