FRANK WILLIAM HICKS, 82, of Memphis, retired manager for Exxon Oil Co., died of heart failure Friday at Mercy Hospital in Laredo, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Hill Cemetery South. Forest Hill Funeral Home South has charge.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Hicks, the widower of Jean E. Hicks, leaves a daughter, Fran Potter of Bartlett; two sons, Billy Hicks of Bartlett and Glenn Hicks of Memphis; two stepdaughters; two stepsons; a sister, Laura Bryan of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Bob Hicks of Placerville, Calif., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to Alzheimer's Association.
