Paul E. Blackwood, Sr., 59, of 14 Velina Drive, Burnt Hills, died Thursday, March 9 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectdy.
Born in the Town of Milton June 12, 1918 he lived in Burnt Hills for nine years and formerly lived in Ballston Spa. He was employed at Skidmore College and Saratoga Raceway and was a member of Alliance Church.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth Blackwood; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Whitmore of Arkport [NY] and Mrs. Audrey Knowles of Congers [NY]; one son, the Rev. Paul E. Blackwood, Jr. Manchester, Vt; his mother, Mrs. Grace Watkins of Ballston Spa; his father Lindley Blackwood, Jr. [s/b Sr.]and one sister Eleanor Blackwood, both of Ballston Spa; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. [also a brother Lindley Blackwood, Jr.]
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 11.
