HARRY ALDERSON DIES
Harry Alderson, 1018 Neosho St., died Thursday evening in Newman Memorial County Hospital. Funeral services will be announced by Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.

ALDERSON SERVICES SET
Funeral services for Harry Alderson,, 1018 Neosho St., who died Thursday evening at Newman Memorial County Hospital, will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel with the Rev. W. S. Muir of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
The retired Santa Fe conductor was born May 29th, 1891, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Sarah) Alderson. He married Sally Brown in Oakhill in 1914. He married his second wife, Gwenth Shirley, on July 22nd, 1933, in Salina.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, the United Transportation Union, and an Emporia resident since 1942.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Cecil, Oakhill, Donald,, Concordia, Larry, Topeka, and Rodney, Overland Park; a daughter, Mrs. James (Marcia) Heckathorn, Altus, Okla.; three sisters, Mable Cochran, Kerrville, Tex., Mary Pontan, Delphos, and Vera Burgman, Abilene, and 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Keith and Kenneth Wayne, a sister, Laura, and four brothers, George, Thomas, Joseph and Edward.
