Died--DAWES--On Strongs Prairie, October 4th, 1883, Mr. James M. Dawes. Mr Dawes was born March 29, 1835. He enlisted in the Union Army in 1861, and remained several years. He lately received a pension which was justly bestowed on a worthy soldier, and which is now a great benefit to his bereaved family. In 1873 he became a soldier for Christ, and was baptised in June of the same year by Elder Yocum; then his pastor. His funeral was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. S.W.
