He died in Breslau, Silesia, Germany, and is buried in the former Lohestraße (today Slezna Street) Jewish Cemetery, near Wroclaw, Poland. That cemetery is now called the
"Museum of Cemetery Art" because of its elaborate decor, and is a branch of the Museum of the City of Wroclaw .
