The rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at O'Connell's Chapel in San Mateo for Albert Barsotti, 89, a retired foreman for Volkman Seed Co.
Barsotti, a native of Italy, lived in San Mateo. He died Saturday at Mills Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; two daughters, Gloria Morales of San Mateo and Eda Paterson of Healdsburg; a brother, Gene Barsotti of San Francisco; a sister, Lena Tognali of San Mateo; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Entombment will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
