His death notice recorded in the Macon Telegraph, Macon, Georgia, Friday, July 26, 1861.
Died in Hayneville, Houston County, on the 14th inst., D. J. P. H. Culler, in the 28th year of his age. The exemplary gentleman and physician of great promise, was stricken with paralysis, and died instantly.
