Noel J. Alcorn long time resident of Sierra Vista, passed away on May 30, 2012. He was born on Oct. 16, 1931, in Sanger, Calif. After high school he went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force. He retired in May of 1971 after 20 years of service. He was part of the Tet Offensive in Vietnam in 1968. He was also a lifetime member of the Sierra Vista VFW Post 9972 serving as Post Commander from 1990-1991.

Noel is survived by his wife of 33 years Catherine May (King) Alcorn, Daughters Dianna Boyd and Deborah Kalbe, step-daughters Linda Ozier and Lauri Schofield, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
