CRESTLINE - Allen B. Baker, 59, died suddenly in his home, 207 E. Bucyrus St. at 10 a.m. Monday following a heart attack.
He was born Dec. 9, 1893, in Washington Township, Richland County, a son of the late Ira and Amanda Snyder Baker. He resided in Crestline the past nine years where he was employed as a brakeman for the Pennsylvania Road.
Survivors are: one brother, Charles W. Baker of Crestline, and a sister, Mrs. Eugene McMillion of near Lucas. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Owls, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Friends may call at the Robert F. Beck Funeral Home, here, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. H. Karl Diemer will officiate. Burial will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
