Mary E. (Ducksbury) Dennison was born on March 19, 1870 in England to Henry Ducksbury and his wife.

After immigrating to the United States, Mary settled in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband Ernest Christopher Dennison (1872 - 1954). Mary, a housewife, lived with her family at 5891 Easton Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.

Sometime after Ernest returned from militrary service in the First World War, Mary and her family moved to 5623 Cote Brilliant Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri. Mary died of a stroke at this home on January 27, 1945.
