WASHINGTON TERRACE -- David Scott Allen, 38, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 27, 2001, as the result of a rollover accident at East Canyon Reservoir.
He was born January 17, 1963 in Ogden, a son of Ethan J. and Arvella Winder Allen.
David married Lynnette Bailey in 1982. They were later divorced. He married Cristine Scott Blackhurst in November of 1989. They divorced, but always retained their love for each other.
David"s best times were spent outdoors, especially in the mountains with his brother and best friend, Chris. Everyone who loved David will have many good memories of fishing, hunting and camping trips with laughs shared around a campfire.
David had a genuine love for his family, a gentle manner, and a great sense of humor that will be greatly missed. Surviving are his parents of Washington Terrace; siblings, Brenda (Charles) Brasher, Washington Terrace; Barbara (David) Morley, Uintah; Chris (Patricia) Allen, Layton; and Sheryll (Kerry) Slot, Hooper. He also leaves his sons from his first marriage, Zachery Scott Allen and Andrew Ethan Allen; former wife Christine Allen, and their son Jordan Dean Allen; step-daughters, Stephanie (Ryan) Walton and Melanie (Kasey) Hancock; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Walton; grandfather, Arvel Winder; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Guy Allen.
