Lillian Cornelia Guice Laughter, 85, of Hendersonville died Monday, January 25m 2010 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House following a period of declining health.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Grice and Maggie Hollingsworth Grice and she was the wife of the late Mitchell B. Laughter who died in 1977. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her son, Thomas Laughter and his wife, Peggy McFalls Laughter, of Leicester, North Carolina; three daughters, Alice Prince of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Thelma Flores of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Patricia Pittman and husband, Larry of Rutherfordton, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one half-sister, Lucille Clarke of Pickens, South Carolina.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Lytle and Rev. Thomas Laughter will officiate.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8pm Wednesday at Shuler Funeral Home.
