Elizabeth McMullin Young, 88, who rode with the Radnor Hunt Club, was a supporter of environmental issues, and served on the women's board of the Academy of Natural Sciences, died Friday in the health center of Beaumont at Bryn Mawr Retirement Community.

She began riding horses as a girl with her father, W. Norman McMullin, and continued riding with her first husband, George I. MacLeod, whom she married in 1936. After Mr. MacLeod's death in 1968, she married John R. Young in 1973 and moved to Exton. Mr. Young died in 1986.
