A Homegoing celebration was held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, at Clinton Cemetery with Dr. Glenn Jonas, the Rev. Ron David and the Rev. Matthew Creech officiating.
Born on June 29, 1956 in Sampson County, Lue was the son of Matle Crumpler Pearson and Luther Laron "L.L." Pearson Jr. He attended Grove Park Baptist Church and was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed trips to the mountains, hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially holding and loving his granddaughter Lily Kathryn. Lue enjoyed spending time outside and one of his favorite things to do was yard work. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Matle Marie Crumpler Pearson.
