The Gordon Alexander Collection, 1916-1970, which contains information about and by him and specimens collected in Thailand, Cambodia, and Colorado, is housed in the Norlin Library Archives, University of Colorado at Boulder.Father of Anne Bingham (1930-2012). Edward Gordon Alexander and wife Marion died in the crash of a Delta Air Lines DC-9-the flight originating in Burlington, Vermont-while the crew was attempting an instrument landing in a dense fog at Logan International Airport, Boston, Massachusetts. Surviving in 1973 were four children and four grandchildren.
