Frank Sanford of Vossburg dies at age 76
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Frank Lee Sanford, 76, of Vossburg, who died Sunday night at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula after a long illness. Rev. E.C. Moss will officiate and burial will be in the Vossburg Cemetery. Survivors are a son, Donald, of Vossburg; a brother, J. Dan of Hattiesburg; three sisters, Mrs. O.D. Herrington of New Orleans, Mrs. Leroy Cooper of Pascagoula and Mrs Lee Donald of Vossburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Frank changed the spelling of his last name from Sandford to Sanford. His brothers all kept the Sandford spelling.
