Gerald G. Montoya, 51, of Avondale, passed away Aug. 31, 2000. Born Dec. 16, 1948, in Pueblo, Colo. Survived by parents, Ernest J. and Tive Montoya, Avondale; daughter, Geri Ann Ortiz, Pueblo; brother, Robert (Elaine) Montoya, Pueblo; nephew, Jared Montoya, Sacramento, Calif. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Gerald enjoyed playing pool and cards and enjoyed the Rockies and Broncos games. No viewing. Cremation has taken place. Vigil rosary, 7 p.m. Monday, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday, both at Sacred Heart Church in Avondale.
