Clyde David Alsup, age 85, of Middleton, TN was born in Ripley, MS. He moved to Middleton in 1982, after the death of his 1st wife in 1981.

Clyde David served in the US Army during the Korean conflict in Germany, where he was a border patrolman along the Czechoslovakian border. He later worked as a tool and die maker for International Harvester, CAT and Carrier.

He was a former member of Campground Methodist Church in Walnut, MS and was presently a member of the Rogers Springs Church of Christ. Some of his favorite pastimes include reading Louis L'Amore novels, fishing, doing yardwork and visiting with his neighbors..
