Services for Reverend Ennis Morgan Bonnette will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Camp Eight United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Gregory Mortensen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Camp Eight United Pentecostal Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Reverend Bonnette, 91, of Alexandria passed from this life, Monday, December 19, 2016 at CHRISTUS ST. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Reverend Bonnette was a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria. He graduated from Louisiana College and Apostolic Bible Institute, St. Paul, Minnesota. During his lifetime he was a successful businessman and pastor, who had a pastor’s heart and was generous and loving. He had over seventy years of ministry with the United Pentecostal Church, which included pastoring Hicks United Pentecostal Church, LaCamp United Pentecostal Church and was founding pastor of the Winnfield United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommye Louise Morrison Bonnette; parents, Clifford Morgan and Lola Alice Lewis Bonnette; brother, Reverend Trenton Clifford Bonnette; and sister, Edna Taris Bonnette Dyess.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Pamela Bonnette McDonald and husband Todd McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Carl Bales, Zachary Bales, Shannon Bales, Gary Rubenstein, Laverne Perkins, Charles Stuckey, Bobby Long and Billy Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Cyle Bales and Trenton Long.
