Daughter of Late J. H. Hart Was Member of Boro Patriotic Units
Miss Adelaide Putnam Hart of 128 Willow St., daughter of the late James Hervey Hart and Ellen Southwick Hart, died Friday at her home after a brief illness.
Miss Hart, who was active in social and patriotic organizations, was born in Brooklyn. Her father, a prominent jeweler, died in 1926. She was a member of the Friday Afternoon Club, the library committee of the Young Women's Christian Association and of the Colonial Daughters of the Seventeeth Century. She attended Grace Episcopal Church, where funeral services were to be held today.
Miss Hart was a sister of the late Mrs. Edward H. Bow, who died in February. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. James Foster, Miss Ellen M. Hart and Miss Lauribel Hart.
