Rose E. Kochan, 81, of Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 424 Birchwood Dr., Francis Creek, died Friday evening, March 29, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James P. Massart will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kochan, nee Rose Delsmann, was born Feb. 12, 1899, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Andres Delsmann. She was married to John Kochan May 20, 1924, at St. Anne Catholic Church. He preceded her in death July 4, 1961. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Christian Mothers and Altar Society and Catholic Knights Insurance Society.
Survivors include two sons, and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Lorraine Kochan and Ralph and Joan Kochan; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Rose Mary and Robert Lambert and Mary Jane and Ronald Burish; four brothers, and three sisters-in-law, Frank and Catherine Delsmann, Ben and Emily Delsmann, Jake and Martha Delsmann and William Delsmann; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Margaret and Robert Swope, Agnes Reynolds, Clare Delsmann and Eugene Rosinsky; 18 grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A brother, two sisters and a grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon, where a prayer service will be at 8 o'clock.
