Ezra Caudill, 93, husband of Hetty Bell Fields Caudill for over 68 years, passed away Monday February 27, 2012 at the Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home, Carlisle.

A native of Blackey, KY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Lucinda Dixon Caudill. He was a retired farmer for the Warren Wilmott farm for 64 years and a member of the United Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Minnie Caudill of Paris and Harrison and Mary Caudill of Paris; one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Matt Melester of Texas; eleven grandchildren, Robert (Jennifer) Caudill, Kimberly (Steven) Wilkirson, Richard (Amy) Caudill, Brandon Melester, Jesse Melester, Aja Melester, Mike (Leah) Caudill, Robert (Lori) Caudill, Roger (Kristina) Caudill, Patricia (Jimmy) Morgan and Elizabeth Caudill; twelve great grandchildren, Braxton Caudill, Morgan Caudill, Jacob Caudill, Jared Caudill, Corey Caudill, Ashley Wilkirson, Madison Wilkirson, Dreama Morgan, Jazlyn Morgan, Jocelyn Caudill, Antony Melester and Exander Morgan; two special friends, Betty Willmott and Anne Baldwin; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Caudill.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris by the Rev. Bob Mallory. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday March 2, 2012 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Caudill, Richard Caudill, Brandon Melester, Jesse Melester, Mike Caudill, Robert Caudill, Roger Caudill and Steven Wilkirson.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY, 859-987-2500.
