Hazel E. Bible, 93, died at 11:15 a.m. Dec. 1, 1997, at Lost Creek Care Center.
She was born Dec. 2, 1903, in Bath Township, Allen County, to Henry E. and Sadie E. Hesser Mowery. On March 25, 1922, she married Philip J. Bible, who died Oct. 11, 1936.
Mrs. Bible was a homemaker and was a clerk at Jones Market. She had worked at Westinghouse Corp. during World War II. She was a member of Calvary Church.
Survivers include two sons, three daughters, a brother, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Burlin Mowery; and a sister, Keturah Carnes.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes. The Rev. Randy Buratko will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
