Mrs. Tommie Robinson

Mrs. Tommie Robinson, 58, died Friday, April 30, at her home in Terrill, after a year’s illness with cancer. She had been seriously ill since April 1.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford with the Rev. Joseph Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial was held at the Fairfield Cemetery in Terrill. Fuhrman funeral home at Estherville had charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were James L. Murphy, Jack F. Murphy, Robert H. Fairchild, Larry McVicker, Bill Zitterich and Ed Cook.

Survivors include: her husband, Tommie; her mother, Barbara Daugherty, a resident of Holy Family Hospital: one brother, Archie Daughtery, and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Murphy, both of Terrill.

Maud Daugherty, daughter of Lewis and Barbara Daugherty, was born March 23, 1907, in Yates Center, Woodson County, Kansas. As young girl, she moved with her family to Sullivan, Ill.

She was educated in the Sullivan schools and attended Eastern Illinois Teachers College and the University of Illinois. Her marriage to Tommie L. Robinson took place December 1, 1928, at Charleston, Ill. They made their home during the last year at Terrill and prior to that they lived in Hawthorne, Calif. for 20 years.
