Kenneth Ray Cheek, 67 years of Shepherdsville, Ky. passed away Monday, June 13, 2011.

Funeral services are Friday, June 17, 2011 at 12pm noon ET/11amCT at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brook Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road. Graveside service Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2:30pmCT at the Caldwell Cemetery, 2705 Caldwell Ridge RD, at Knifley, KY. Friends may pay their respects Thursday from noon until 8pmET at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home

He was the son of the late Leonard and Madeline Watson Cheek.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 44 years, Malinda Cheek of Shepherdsville, KY, and the following: Daughter: Krista Moffitt and husband Matthew

One sister: Carolyn Sue "Suzi" Klein and husband Hib

He was preceded in death by two half brothers, William and Harold Cheek and one half sister, Dorothy Dean Cheek.

He was a member of Highview Baptist Church. He was a devout Christian and witness for the Lord.

He was owner of Cheek's Tree Service.
