Mary was the daughter of Archibald Campbell Jr. and Hannah E. Knowles. She died of tuberculosis at the age of 25 years.

"CAMPBELL - On the 26th instant, after a lingering illness, MARY KNOWLES, youngest and only remaining daughter of Hannah Elizabeth and the late Archibald Campbell.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence of her mother, No. 1508 N. Eleventh street, this (Monday) morning, 30th instant, at 10 o'clock. To proceed to West Laurel Hill Cemetery."
