Bradley Dies in California -

John A. Bradley, age 28, formerly of Neligh, of Manteca, Calif died at a Modesto, Calif. hospital on Thursday, May 6, 1982 of a cerebral aneurysm.
Bradley, the son of John W. "Bill" and Donna (Mettling) Bradley, was a 1971 graduate of Neligh-Oakdale High School.
When he failed to appear for work for two days at Uecker Construction Co., in Manteca, where Bradley was a foreman, a fellow worker went to investigate and found Bradley unconscious. He was take to a local hospital where he died during the night.
He had been employed by the firm for 3 and one-half years. An autopsy was performed and followed by cremation for transport to Nebraska.
John was an accomplished acoustic guitar player, and loved old cars, Marlboro cigarettes, Jack Daniels, and music.
Memorial services for Bradley were held at a church in Manteca on Saturday, May 8. Graveside services are pending at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh. John is preceded in death by his father Bill, his mother Donna, and his Grandparents Walter and Marjorie Bradley. He leaves behind a sister, Krista Bradley Kester, and a brother, Randall Scott Bradley.
