PORTAGE - Julius Teske, 89, died Monday (May 10, 1971) in a Wyocena nursing home. Before his retirement he was employed for 50 years with the bridge and maintenance crew for the Milwaukee Road Railroad. He was a member of the Portage Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. His wife, the former Grace Millard, died in October, 1968. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Bell, Portage; three sons, Edwin, St. Louis, Mo.; Elmer, Princeville, ILL.; and Dean, Reisterstown, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Lillian West, St.Paul, Minn.; a brother, Frederick,in California; 12 grandchildren;and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30p.m. Thursday in the Port Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be held at 8 tonight at the funeral home.
