He was preceded in death by his son, Chris; and is survived by his loving wife, Gardenia; his daughter, Jeanette, and her husband, Ernesto; his daughter-in-law Rose; his daughter, Brenda and her husband, Doug; his son, Ron and his partner Dan; his daughter, Lottie and her husband, Steve; his seven grandchildren, Eric, Marissa, Christopher, Devon, Sarah, Casey, and Ivan; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Crispin served in the United States Marine Corps for 30 years and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. As a soldier, Crispin's service included WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. At age 60, Crispin's dedication to growth led him to graduate from Palomar College as the oldest in his class.
An avid Padres fan and keen fisherman, Crispin will be remembered by loved ones for his thoughtful wisdom, selfless generosity, and devotion to his wife and family. His life proves that through hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
A visitation will be held between 5-8pm, on Monday, June 4, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside. A celebration of his life will take place at 11am, at San Luis Rey Mission in the Serra Center in Oceanside on Tues, June 5th, and will be directly followed by his interment at the San Luis Rey Mission Cemetery.
