Hannah was the 3rd of seven children of Stephen Morris Leamy and Elizabeth Pawling Leamy. Hannah's parents are also buried in the Old St. David Church Cemetery.

On November 20, 1873, Hannah married John M. Potter in Newtown Baptist Parsonage in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Hannah and John had one child, John William Potter, who was born on April 6, 1876 in Berwyn in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

After their marriage; John, Hannah and their son lived the remainder of their lives in Chester County.



Death Notice: Philadelphia Inquirer- July 8, 1890
"POTTER - At Berwyn, on the 4th instant, Hannah Leamy, wife of John M. Potter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from her late residence, at 2 o'clock, at St. David's, Radnor. Train leaves Broad Street Station at 12.45 for Berwyn."
