She was a native of Brookline, Mass., grew up in Boston, Mass., and had been a resident of Williamsburg since 1992. As a military wife, she traveled with her husband during his career in the U.S. Navy. She devoted herself to raising a family and was a not only a loving mother, but grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving members of her family include her husband of 58 years, Alfred Paul Day Jr.; children, Larry Day and wife, Sybille, Howard Day and wife, Janice, Paula Day Nieto and husband, David, and Linda Day; grandchildren, Jason Nieto, Janet Vaughan, Jennie Eagle, Ryan Day, Shaun Day, Eric Nieto, Angela Day, Phillip Copley, Jody Anderson; great-grandchildren, twelve.
