Laid to Rest
TABER (HNS) — A resident of
the Taber and Vauxhall districts
for the last 48 years, Marcus
Frank Buckley was laid to rest In
the Vauxhall cemetery following
funeral services conducted from
the Vauxhall Evangelical Free
Church Saturday a f t e r n o o n ,
March 26. Officiating: at the service
was Rev. E. Axene. and Humphries
Funeral Home of Taber
was In charge of burial arrangements.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert
Arthurs. Bert Dutfleld. James
Ruckman. Richard McCar1ey,
George Brady and Donald Tyo,
Active pallbearers were Joseph
Fitzpatrick. Lawrence Reason.
Earl Marsh. Archie Marsh, Douglas
Stevenson and J. V. McCarley.
Mr. Buckley was born at Dickinson.
NJD., July 20, 1890 and on
coming to Taber In 1912 worked at
a livery stable. He was married
to Emily Perry at Taber in June
of 1915, and later worked on the
Cameron Ranch northeast of Taber before taking up a farm at
Retlaw which he operated from
his home in Vauxhall. He passed ]
away Wednesday, March 23, at the '
Taber Municipal Hospital.
Survivors include his wife of '
Vauxhall, a daughter Mrs. Dora !
Kinzeli of Retlaw. a son Frank of .
Winnipeg and three grandchildren.
