I was born in 1914 at the farm home and educated at Process School, which was a distance of 2½ miles from the farm. In 1926, my parents took up temporary residence in Medicine Hat for a period of seven months where I attended Elm Street School. While attending Process School, most of the time we walked to school and home again in the afternoon.
I was married in 1940 to Emma Ruff, and lived on the Ruff farm for three years, then moved to father's farm in 1943.
We have a family of two, a daughter Lurline (Mrs. Ken Gardner) living at Vermillion born in 1941, and a son Douglas born in 1943.
