Charles was employed by the U.S. Postal Service of Philadelphia for 38 years retiring in 2005. Charles served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by a son, Charles D. English, Sr. and wife Stephanie of Philadelphia; two daughters, Caroline English of Piscataway, NJ, Carla English of Parlin, NJ; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 12th at WESCOTT FUNERAL HOME, 1701 W. Hunting Park Ave., Philadelphia., 215-223-0937. Interment, Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newton, PA. Visitation will be held from 10-11 A.M. .
