RITES PLANNED AT FROMBERG
Funeral services for Mrs. Nora E. Bell, 73, of Fromberg, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fromberg Methodist Church. Mrs. Bell died of a stroke Sunday afternoon in the Carbon County Hospital at Red Lodge.
Mrs. Bell was born Aug. 19, 1886, at Fontanelle, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Trotter. She attended schools in Iowa and Nebraska and for several years was a teacher in the Indian Service. Mrs. Bell was postmistress at Rosebud, SD for three years.
She was married to Walter Bell, Jan. 28, 1931, in Wagner, SD. The family moved to Fromberg in 1936 and Mr. Bell died there in 1945. In 1946, Mrs. Bell moved to Corona, Cal., and lived there ten years until her return to Fromberg in 1956.
Mrs. Bell was a past matron of Alice Chapter, No. 51, OES, and a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Bell are a daughter, Mrs. Allen Nielsen of Miles City, and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Rockvale Cemetery. Settergren Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
