The Kalispell Bee (MT), 16 Aug 1907:

Death of Mrs. Sheldon

At about sundown yesterday evening the spirit of Mrs. Bert Sheldon shook off the clogging tenement of life and soared to the resplendent heavens.

Mrs. Sheldon has been for a long time a most capable nurse at the Northwestern hospital and she has been indefatigable in her attentions to the patients, although repeatedly urged by the attending physicians to husband her own strength. Some weeks ago she was stricken with typhoid and later other complications set in. About a week ago she was reported as dying but the relapse was followed by such improvement that up to the last hour strong hope was had for her ultimate recovery.

Mrs. Sheldon leaves a husband, Bert Sheldon, to mourn her loss, and many friends, but no children. She was a past officer of the local Lodge of Rebekahs who will probably have charge of the funeral which will be held from Sherman's undertaking parlors at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment at Fairview cemetery beside the only son of the deceased.
