Gerald E Dickinson, son of Bernice Dickinson Tarbox and Forrest E. Tarbox, brother of Dorothy, Marjorie, Keith and Paul Tarbox, died serving his country with the 291 US Army Infantry, 75th Division in Dortman, Germany during the Battle for the Ruhr. Gerald was buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Holland and later at Fairview Cemetery, Perham, Maine, on October 21, 1948 in Lot 76.
